Care Tips Regular Terrariums
The regular terrariums maintains a micro climate. This is not the same as the ecosystem in the self-sufficient terrariums. The plants in these terrariums generally generate too much humidity and therefore they have to be opened up occasionally to vent.
When you see a lot of condensation on the inside of your terrarium it is good to leave the cork open for a few hours to get rid of the excessive moisture.
In principle these terraria should not be watered. However if the cork has been open for too long and the moss and plants are visibly dry, make sure to water it just a bit before closing.
The terrariums like to be in the light but should not be placed in direct sunlight. When placed in direct sunlight, the combination of glass and moisture makes that the temperature in the bottle will get too high.
The terrarium is most comfortable in a climate between 15 and 22 degrees Celsius.
